#TRAILERCHEST: Netflix give us seven Noomi Rapaces for the price of one in What Happened To Monday?

Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we’re taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for What Happened To Monday.

Plot’s it all about? Originally titled Seven Sisters, this new Netflix original sci-fi thriller tells the story of, yep, seven sisters, who live in a future world where any more than one child per family will see the leftovers immediately “taken care of”.

When Dafoe fathers seven identical daughters, he hides them in plain sight by letting them out of the house one day at a time, as per their name: Monday can go out on Monday, Tuesday on Tuesday, and so on.

But when one of the seven go missing – the titular Monday – it is up to the other six sisters to figure out what happened to her, while also going under the radar of the nasty government people (fronted by the legendary Glenn Close) who would rather they be dead, all things considered.

Coming from the director of the cult-hit Dead Snow, this looks like the kind of smart sci-fi that could itself garner a bit of a cult following, plus with the chameleonic Rapace in the lead role(s), we guaranteed some very interesting performances.

Starring: Noomi Rapace, Noomi Rapace, Noomi Rapace, Noomi Rapace, Noomi Rapace, Noomi Rapace, Glenn Close, Willem Dafoe, Robert Wagner and Noomi Rapace.

Directed by: Tommy Wirkola

Irish release date: 18 August

Enjoy!
