Graham Norton Late Late line up

What you’ll be watching if you’re staying in…

It’s Friday, and that can only mean one thing… wait, yes you’re correct it means the JOE Friday Pub Quiz, but it also means the Late Late Show and Graham Norton Show will be hitting our screens.

Here’s what you can expect from the two shows…

The Late Late Show

Graeme Souness

He will be in studio to chat about everything from his glory days as part of a Liverpool team that dominated the English game and took home three European Cups to his controversial managerial career.

He’ll also be giving the lowdown on Ireland’s chances against Denmark.

Celine Byrne, Gregory Porter and Pete Conway will join the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for three very special performances on the Late Late

Celine Byrne will join the orchestra to perform ‘Climb Ev’ry Mountain’ from The Sound of Music and Gregory Porter will perform Charlie Chaplin’s beloved ‘Smile’.

Pete Conway joins the orchestra on Friday night to sing the Joe Dolan classic ‘Good Lookin’ Woman’ and he’ll be sharing his memories of the Mullingar singer.

Also on the show will be writer, actor and raconteur Michael Harding.

Salon Confidential

The stars of Salon Confidential will also be joining Ryan and giving a member of the audience a makeover as well as chatting about the show.

Maia Dunphy

The Irish TV producer, actor and writer shares her experiences of the pressures of modern motherhood, dealing with unwanted advice, sleep deprivation, competitive parents and dirty nappies.

The Late Late Show will also pay tribute to the people across Ireland who helped minimise the impact of Storm Ophelia.

The Graham Norton Show

Hillary Clinton

Former Democrat US Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be on Graham’s couch tonight.

Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump in a campaign that was dogged by scandal including her private email use in the State Department.

We wonder will she loosen up on the show and await the inevitable Donald Trump with some interest.

Jeff Goldblum

He’ll be forever known to us for Jurrasic Park, but Goldblum has had a whole host of other roles including in Independence Day and The Grand Budapest Hotel.

He’ll no doubt be talking about Thor: Ragnarok, as he plays the role of En Dwi Gast in the new movie.

Gerard Butler

Butler is a huge star who’ll be very familiar to Irish viewers. The Scottish actor is responsible for that diabolical accent in PS I Love You. But he’s done a lot of good stuff besides.

He’ll be on discussing his new movie Geostorm.

Jack Whitehall and Gregory Porter

The comedy on the night will be provided by Whitehall who you may know from A League of their Own and Bad Education.

There’ll also be music from acclaimed jazz singer Gregory Porter.
