TXFM to bring a back a number of old Phantom FM hosts as it launches next week

The new Dublin radio station TXFM have announced that a number of old voices from Phantom FM will be back on the airwaves from next week.

The station will hit the airwaves in Phantom’s old 105.2 frequency on Monday morning.

Cathal Funge, who hosted the Phantom Irish-only show Ikon, will host the new breakfast show.

Claire Beck, Joe Donnelly and Kelly-Ann Byrne will also have slots on the weekday schedule.

New voices include the well-respected music blogger Nialler 9, Dublin music journeyman Gavin Glass, and Derek Byrne, who returns with an electronic show on Friday nights.

Former ‘Breakfast Club’ host Nadine O’Regan will host a ‘desert downloads’ show, while there will be an Irish language show with Orlagh Donnelly.

Phantom was rebranded and integrated into the Today FM resources in February.
