There is nothing more that we love seeing in films than an upbeat, redemptive and inspiring montage because it speaks to the underdog in us.
No victory would be complete without a video that chronicles an initial defeat to your rival, the hard work involved at getting another shot at glory and the ultimate success over your critics.
We're not quite sure how this would translate to the the life of the worlds most famous playboy/psycho/vigilante ass-kicking billionaire Bruce Wayne though.
Fear not though because Dave Black has the answer with this brilliantly cheesy Dark Knight training montage and of course it's soundtracked by 80's icons Survivor
We really hope that Batman used Bane's advise that, "When Gotham is ashes, you have my permission to die” as inspiration to get himself back to the top
