Video: Bob Geldof responds to criticism of Band Aid 30 with some ‘colourful’ language on live TV… twice

Rock and roll baaaaaaabyyyyyyy!

Bob drops the “bollo**s” bomb live on Sky News.

Bob Geldof doesn’t suffer fools gladly. In this interview live on Sky News this morning, he responded to questions from the newsreader in a very Irish way following criticism from some quarters of the new Band Aid single.

He is asked about the apparent reluctance and chase for Adele to do the song, but when the accusations of ‘tax dodging millionaires’ is put forward to him, Geldof reacts with disdain and says he thinks “they’re talking boll***s.” The newsreader is obviously taken aback and asks him not to use such ‘colourful’ language.

The lady then goes on to ask him about another criticism from another charity spokesman and again, he drops the B-bomb and the newsreader ends the interview.

Hell hath no foul-mouthed fury like a an Irish knight scorned…
