The Simpsons are going to…LEGO, because that makes sense
This Sunday, a very special LEGO-themed episode of The Simpsons will be broadcast in the States, and we’ve got a little trailer here of what the whole thing will look like.
From what we’ve seen so far, we have to admit that it recalls the ‘Treehouse of Horror’ episode where Homer was trapped in a 3D world, but even though the show has dipped in quality since then, we’re hoping for something approaching those heights. No pressure, lads.
The episode will combine both the 3D effects seen in The LEGO Movie and the regular 2D animation that the show normally uses, with Homer going through a strange journey involving LEGO castles and the two worlds merging.
