Johnny Knoxville’s up to his old tricks again with Bad Grandpa as he puts the poor unsuspecting public through their paces.
This time round, the sadistic stunt funnyman stars as 86-year-old Irving Zisman – the dirty aul man made famous from his regular appearances on MTV’s Jackass.
The semi-scripted movie sees Zisman taking his young grandson (Jackson Nicoll) on an inevitably inappropriate road trip from hell and, through the usual Jackass hidden cameras, captures the priceless reactions of the public as the pair destroy weddings, funerals and even infiltrate a kids’ beauty pageant – with Nicoll dressed as an 8 year old stripper.
Having previously starred together in Fun Size – one of the worst films that JOE has ever seen – Knoxville and Nicoll’s next release thankfully looks much, much better and much, much funnier.
Here at JOE we’ve already brought you the great full trailer for Bad Grandpa and now Paramount Pictures have just released the extended ‘Broken Ride’ clip. We may have seen this particular payoff in that earlier trailer but, whether you’re watching it for the first time or the fifteenth time, there really is something quite hilarious about seeing an old man flying through a shop window in a toy fish.
