Video: Class opening sequence to next week’s Love/Hate episode

Featuring Tommy and Nidge getting cared for by their other halves, it’s pretty much perfect.

Featuring Tommy and Nidge getting cared for by their other halves, it’s pretty much perfect.

One of the many great things about Love/Hate is the superb opening/credit sequences to each episode. Usually shot with some style, and scored with some unusual, but ideal, music, it grabs you and pulls you right into that week’s episode. That Stuart Carolan fella really is very clever.

RTE have just released the sequence from Sunday’s upcoming episode from Series 4. If you haven’t seen the show before and want to avoid any spoilers, then maybe don’t click below but if you are up to date, then this sneak peak won’t do you any harm.

Featuring Tommy just sitting around the house in a daze and top man Nidge suffering with a flu, both men are looked after by their long-suffering other halves, Siobhan and Trish, in a fantastically edited opening.

The music, Rama Lama Ding Dong, might be from the 1950s but it works a treat.

Roll on Sunday.
