An Irish superstar…

To celebrate the release of the wonderful new Irish film, Sing Street, we caught up with director John Carney (Once, Begin Again), stars of the show, Ferdia Walsh-Peelo and Lucy Boynton, and one of Ireland’s most talented actors, Jack Reynor, as the scene-stealing, pot-smoking, music-loving Brendan.

As the fantastic film’s tagline expertly sums up, “Boy meets girl. Girl unimpressed. Boy starts band.”

We can all relate to that, right?

With a crackin’ cast, a stupendous soundtrack and more moments of magic than a Paul Daniels tribute act, Sing Street really is destined to become one of the best-loved Irish films of all time.

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll laugh again, and then you’ll keep crying. Basically, you’ll be an emotional wreck in the best possible way.

While we try to compose ourselves, check out our chat with Jack Reynor about the incredible international love for Sing Street, he reveals his favourite Irish film of all time, and we also discuss those very exciting Star Wars Han Solo rumours.

Just don’t ask us how many times we’ve met before, it seems neither of us can remember.

Enjoy…

And here’s the terrific toe-tapping trailer to get you in the mood…
