This one goes out to the 80s kids.
Well over 75 million views on YouTube would suggest that music fans are familiar with the music video for Extreme’s ‘More than Words,’ a song that reached number one in the US in 1991.
The video, featuring guitarist Nuno Bettencourt and singer Gary Cherone, has been parodied by the likes of Weird Al Yankovic in the past and Jimmy Fallon and Jack Black did their own shot by shot take for it on a segment on Fallon’s show earlier this week.
Like most of Fallon’s skits, it’s pretty darn funny and although Black can be a little over dramatic times, the pair of them have got it spot on here.
While you’re at it, you might as well have another listen to the original; corny video or not, it’s a classic.
