Video: One-minute supercut shows just how much Tom Cruise loves riding motorbikes in his movies

Word is he tried to substitute a motorbike for a horse in Far and Away too but was refused on the basis that they hadn’t been invented at the time the movie was set.

If you thought that the only thing Tom Cruise did in his movies was run, then you’re sorely mistaken. Granted, he does run an awful lot, but he’s also a big fan of riding motorbikes and whether through his own influence (very likely) or just by sheer chance (very unlikely), practically every movie he has made, particularly in recent years, involves him riding a motorbike at one stage or another.

The folks at Vulture recognised this and made up a pretty cool supercut of Tom Cruising along on his motorbike in movies like Top Gun, Mission Impossible and Vanilla Sky right up to movies he’s made in the last couple of years such as Oblivion and his most recent hit, Edge of Tomorrow.

Tom can’t get everywhere on his bike, however, but those difficult to access places don’t cause too much hassle because as we mentioned already, much like he likes to ride a motorbike, he also likes to run… a lot…
