VIDEO: People refused to pay $2 to see Ed Sheeran play in this private ‘peep-show’ prank

When thinking out loud gets you into trouble

When thinking out loud gets you into trouble.

One of the worst things for music lovers is that sense of regret that comes after missing out on an incredible gig. Maybe you didn’t buy tickets when they went on sale because money was scarce or you don’t trust people when they say “this band are absolutely incredible live, don’t miss them”. Ye of little faith!

Tickets for an Ed Sheeran gig can be harder to find than a Manchester United goalscorer but some Australian fans were recently given the chance to see the X singer perform live at a very intimate and revealing gig.

Australian comedy duo Hamish & Andy took to the streets and offered fans a $2 private performance that was billed as a “peep show” in what looked like a fairly shady establishment.

To Ed’s credit, he didn’t get the hump after sitting around for more than two hours before anyone actually paid in to see him. When Ed’s revealed, the looks on the faces of the people who paid in are absolutely priceless.

Take a look.
