‘Nothing like the Nerney to get you herny.’
Ireland might be a more liberal place now than it was in the past, but there are still plenty of people out there for whom discussion of sex or anything to do with it makes for a distinctly uncomfortable environment.
Bridget and Eamon – the dysfunctional yet highly amusing couple who pop up regularly on Republic of Telly – would be an example of the type of people not used to talking about the ‘S’ word on a regular basis, but seeing as it was Eamon’s birthday, they were going to have to confront it head-on as Bridget prepared to give Eamon his annual present.
After some Dutch courage, some instructional videos (featuring Magnum PI) and some Declan Nerney tunes (‘Nothing like the Nerney to get you herny) to set the mood, Bridget and Eamon were eventually ready to get down to business, but rather than spoil the fun, we’ll let you see how it panned out for yourselves in the video above.
