Ever the opportunist...

You've gotta love the guy. Ricky Gervais, while presenting the "big one" - the Emmy for Best Writing For A Variety Special - took the opportunity to read out his excellent winning rant speech for Best Actor In A Comedy Series... even though he didn't win. Not a f*ck was given as Gervais, having lost to The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons, interrupted his own presentation to read out his no-holds-barred acceptance speech, in which he let the audience and voters know that he wasn't happy with the "cruel joke" they were all playing on him.
