Practically all of Ireland will be glued to their television sets tomorrow night for the finale of the latest series of the ridiculously popular Dublin-based show and realising the magnitude of such an occasion, Ron Burgundy took time out of his busy schedule to record a special message for its many fans ahead of the main event.

Ron, who is busy preparing for the release of the Anchorman sequel and who will be in Dublin along with the rest of the Global Network News team early next month, didn’t shy away from the fact that the content can be quite graphic at times – “People do horrible things on that show. Horrible” – but he did admit he was prepared to overlook it because he had such a soft spot for the Dublin accent.

“Never have criminals sounded so rustic and charming. Seriously, that accent is just delightful. It’s the audio equivalent of a warm cup of tea on a rainy day.”

Ron can’t wait and Great Odin’s Raven, we can’t wait either and for a taster of what’s in store, check out a couple of little teasers to get you extra excited about one of the main television events in Ireland in recent years…
