Scarlett Johansson wants your body…because she’s a sexy, sexy alien who will kill you
The latest trailer for Under the Skin takes us on a trip through the strange and Kubrick-esque mind of Jonathan Glazer, who is the man behind the camera for this sci-fi thriller.
The story is based on Michael Faber’s novel of the same name, which tells the tale of an alien temptress (Johansson) preying on hitchhikers, in particular young men who wander the motorways, taking them back to her lair and doing away with them. The grey and rainy backdrop of Scotland provides the perfect other-worldly feel to the events of the trailer, and of course, there will be plenty of Scarlett Johansson looking lovely, but deadly.
It’s a hugely anticipated flick that will be screened at this year’s Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, so much so that it’s already sold out, so you’ll have to wait until it’s on general release later this year.
