Anyone who can get Bryan Cranston, George Lucas and the Cookie Monster on the same stage is clearly a genius…

Much like Father Stone, JOE rarely shows our emotions when it comes to expressing how we really feel about good TV shows.

Actually, that’s a lie because the only thing that’s more important than good TV is sport, craic and bacon.

We’re unashamedly honest when we say that we got very emotional after watching the final episode of the wonderful Colbert Report.

Colbert ended his show’s 9 year run on Comedy Central without any guests, until the show’s final moments, when he broke into song and was joined by his friend and mentor Jon Stewart along with a host of friendly faces from the worlds of politics, entertainment and cartoons.

Colbert is a wonderfully gifted broadcaster and we’re keeping our eyes peeled to see what he does next.

Take a look.
