The rumour mill is suggesting that this movie is just awful, but we refuse to make up our minds on a film we haven’t seen yet, despite any whisperings in the movie-critic world.
For anyone born after 1989, the enormity of this film may be lost on you, but Saved By The Bell was an integral part of Irish Saturday morning television for 90s kids and hence will always have a firm place in JOE hearts.
Often described as the ‘oh Sweet Lord it’s always on’ show, this new movie is based on the scathing book, Behind the Bell, written by actor Dustin Diamond AKA Screech. His book outlined that many of the cast members were having sexual relations and engaging in casual drug use, but we don’t know yet if all of this is included in the movie. We will let you know when we find out…
