No prizes for guessing what Sean Penn does in his latest movie, The Gunman.
You might mistake this as a trailer for yet another outing in the Taken franchise, but fear not as while it looks and sounds exactly like a Taken movie, and even though it was directed by the guy behind Taken, it’s a completely different flick.
Well, sort of.
The Gunman sees a former US Special Forces sniper running around Europe chasing after a girl while trying to clear his name. Sound familiar?
The Gunman stars Sean Penn as the US Special Forces soldier, along with Javier Bardem, Idris Elba, Ray Winstone and Mark Rylance.
In fairness, it actually looks pretty good…

The Gunman already had its premiere in London earlier this month, but it will hit Irish cinemas on March 20.
