It’s set to hit Irish screens on July 15.
First of all, there’s going to be the inevitable backlash when the Ghostbusters remake is released, as there is so much love for Dan Aykroyd’s original film. However, the remake does look handy.
Consisting of a predominantly female (and very talented) cast in the form of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, the movie picks up from where it left off in the 1980s, so it should be good craic.
Liam Hemsworth is also on board, playing the receptionist, while the iconic Bull Murray and Dan Aykroyd himself will be making cameos.
