After a nine year wait, this is the first glimpse we have of some new Sin City footage. And it looks just as good as we hoped.
The original Sin City was stunning film, one that looked totally different to anything we had seen before or since. Now Frank Miller is back, with Robert Rodriguez on board again too, for another slab of noir graphic novel action made large for the big screen.
Starring some faces you will recognise from the first flick, like Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is also liberally sprinkled with new characters, such as Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s gambler called Johnny.
Again the format is a series of interlocking stories, some of which took place before the events of the 2005 film, and based on the trailer you can expect to be bombarded by strippers, rain, violence and more rain. Lovely.
Expect it in the cinema in late August.
