The latest episode of the Simpsons, which aired over in the US last night, featured a Minecraft inspired couch gag that has left the game’s creator pleasantly surprised.
The Minecraft couch gag aired on the latest episode of the Simpsons called “Luca$”, which aired in the States last night and includes a special guest appearance from none other than the Between Two Ferns star, Zach Galifianakis.
The Simpson family all appear in Minecraft form, while poor awl Moe the Bartender is left to pop up and explode like a creeper from the game.
Before you watch the clip, we’d like to apologise for the sh*tty quality, but seeing as the show only aired a couple of hours ago we’re still waiting for a better version.

Here’s what Minecraft’s creator, Markus “Notch” Persson, had to say about the couch gag on Twitter:
The Simpsons did a Minecraft couch gag. I’m not sure how I feel about it.

I STILL feel a bit like it’s just this small game I made at home. It’s so weird to have all these things happen. <3
