Jimmy Fallon’s Irish accent is bordering on Tom Cruise in Far and Away levels of awfulness.
There was probably no light entertainment TV show on the planet that didn’t reference St. Patrick’s Day yesterday and given the strong Irish link in America, it was always likely to be the case on Tonight with Jimmy Fallon.
We’re huge fans of Fallon’s work but there was a little bit too much Paddywhackery in this segment for our liking, even if the sentiment was light-hearted and good-natured throughout.
For a man with strong Irish ancestry, meanwhile, he really needs to work on that accent.
