She made a meal of it.
Honesty is always a good policy when you’re trying to make an impression on someone that you fancy but it seems that Emma from Liverpool was a bit too honest when she met Ian on ‘First Dates’.
The 33-year-old was a bit nervous before the date so she decided to down a bottle of wine before their meal – a fact that she was happy to share with him – but things didn’t exactly improve from there.
Let’s just say that Emma would never be able to date Joey Tribbiani because she decided to sip from Ian’s soup while he nipped off to use the bathroom.
Here’s how Twitter commented on a date that could only be described as car crash.
I'd be fuming if someone ate my soup. #hellno #FirstDates

Surprised the man on a date with Emma didn't jump out of the toilet window, eating lamb with her hands and pinching his soup 😂😩 #FirstDates

Here’s a few useful dating tips.
Things I learned from tonight's #FirstDates, don't:
– order a beer with 2 Jagerbomb chasers
– call your date scary
– leave soup unattended— DarrenSpenceOnAir (@DarrenOnAir) January 28, 2016
Will get a second date? Probably not.
