Ok so it obviously took him a bit longer than that but this recreation of the building of the one of the most famous houses in television is still very cool.
We’ve never attempted to build a lego house, but given the lack of construction nous in the JOE office, we imagine it would take about as long as it would to build an actual house.
For one big Simpsons fan, Nathan Heustis, it didn’t take that long at all, or at least it didn’t appear to judging by the speeded-up recreation that he has posted on YouTube that corresponds perfectly with the Simpsons theme tune itself, the extended and often-used circus theme tune that is.
This might only appeal to a niche market of Simpsons and Lego fans – JOE is very much in both camps – but it is impressive and besides, he certainly did a far better job than Homer and company did when rebuilding Flanders’ gaff…
