This Roscommon couple could never have envisaged the success of their Fifty Shades of Grey parody when they put it together, but here they are after being nominated for a major award.
Michael Hourigan and Martina Larkin have been chosen to represent Ireland at the Jameson Empire Awards in London in the Jameson Done in 60 Seconds Category.
Entrants were asked to edit a classic movie down to 60 seconds, inspiring the Roscommon pair to create the utterly brilliant Fifty Shades of Tae.
Speaking ahead of the event, which takes place on March 20 and will be hosted by David Walliams, Martina said;
“We were absolutely thrilled and over the moon when we got selected as Ireland’s entry in the competition, this is such a great springboard into the industry.”
