JOE has frequently wondered what would our life would be like if we took the bold step and transferred our slightly mad incredibly professional writing skills over to to the world of movies.
The collective minds of Hollywoodland would be blown away with our Tarantinoesque pop-culture dialogue, Charlie Kaufman-like weirdness and our own ‘mad as a bag of spiders’ Irish outlook on life.
One of the first things that we would do is reinvent the rulebook when it comes to movie kidnappings/hostages/gun fights/general bad people doing bad things in films because it always seems that it’s the girls that get the raw deal.
Indiana Jones, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Dirty Harry, Neo, Leon, Arnie and loads more have all asked before so now it’s our turn.
Mr. Villain, we asked nicely and we’re not going to ask again.
