Video: This mashup of the cinema’s best space moments is… out of this world

Add an Anthony Hopkins voiceover to anything and it’s bound to be class…

Max Shishkin has created something special by combining the soundtrack of Interstellar with the voice of Anthony Hopkins and 35 other cinemaic space films.

The video is quite a spectacle and although, you know that the images weren’t actually filmed in space, we can guarantee that you will find them exceedingly cool.

It’s quite the golden era for space films in the cinema at the moment, with the success of Gravity last year, Interstellar this year and the promise of even more Star Wars films next year.

You’ll definitely spot some iconic scenes in the below video with one of our favourite inclusion being Paul Verhoeven’s classic Starship Troopers. We think it is one of the biggest injustices in recent times that it didn’t win Best Screenplay at the Oscars…

Overall though, this video really is (wait for it)… out of this world.
