Tom Cruise has confirmed that Top Gun 2 is happening.
A sequel to one of the biggest hits of 1980s cinema has long been rumoured, and now the film's star has revealed on Australian TV that he will start filming in the next year.
The show's presenters seem genuinely staggered that Cruise would admit such a thing on live television, with both Samantha Armytage and David Koch knowing full well that what they're being told is about to go global.
Koch even makes an aborted attempt to get Cruise to reprise his old, 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling' routine, thankfully to no avail.
