Another memorable Golden Globes.
It wasn’t just Ricky Gervais that was making headlines at the Golden Globes because there were some very funny moments in between all the speeches, songs and sips of alcohol. The Revenant and The Martian were the big winners on the night and I’m sure that most film fans will be hoping that the awards keep on coming for Leonardo DiCaprio.
Any ceremony can be a nervous affair with jitters, tension and excitement in the air but DiCaprio’s reaction to Lady Gaga startling him should give you a laugh.
Here’s hoping that Leo is smiling when the Oscars come around.

DiCaprio going gaga at Gaga wasn’t the only memorable moment from the ceremony though because we were all treated to Jim Carrey’s first public appearance since the very sad news regarding the death of his former girlfriend Catriona White.
In typical Carrey fashion, he had the whole room in stitches with this not so humble speech.

Denzel Washington was honoured with the Cecil B. DeMille award for his outstanding contribution to cinema and his Philadelphia co-star Tom Hanks did the honours of introducing him. Oh yeah, Hanks also did an uncanny impression of the Training Day and Flight star. that had everyone in stitches.
