The bullies. The big broadcasting bullies.
Following their recent trip to Ireland to visit the staff and readers of JOE.ie, the Channel 4 News Team returned home to the States (that’s the United States of America fact fans) to continue their juggernaut publicity tour promoting the release of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
While appearing on the always excellent The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, Burgundy and his boys became slightly misbehaved as Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and the other one didn’t take too kindly to the special treatment that ex-Daily Show alumnus Steve Carell was receiving from the show’s host.
After presenting Stewart with a series of bizarre gifts that they blatantly stole from the show’s Green Room, Burgundy, Fantana and Champ decided that the best way to react to Brick being served a Chilean meal that was “picked by the hand of abused migrant workers,” was to steal the fine food, physically attack Stewart and subsequently hand out Green Room props to the clearly very entertained live studio audience.
