WATCH: This doctor appeared on The Chase and got a very basic medical question wrong

Alan Loughnane

Oh dear…

Entertaining students and people returning from work for years, the TV show The Chase will always have a cult following in Ireland and Britain with Bradley Walsh entertaining viewers.

Answering questions on live television is surely nerve wracking, although it didn’t affect The Telminator on his appearance (who may just have been the greatest ever contestant on The Chase).

Therefore, it’s understandable for your mind to go blank on certain things which you should know in pressure situations.

Such as this instance

But poor medical student Euen had an absolute mare when he was asked a fairly straightforward question in relation to the location of the pituitary gland… something we assume any would-be doctor would know instantly.

“The pituitary gland is located on the underside of which organ?” asked Bradley Walsh.

To which Euen replied, “The neck”.

Now we’re no medical experts, but we’re pretty certain that the neck is not actually an organ. Let’s put Euen’s answer down to nerves because the look of horror on his face demonstrates the remorse felt for the answer.
