WATCH: The most Irish moment in recent memory? The world’s smallest cow was a guest on The Late Late Show

Alan Loughnane

Peak Ireland…

Let’s start with a bad quality joke, why do cows have hooves instead of feet?

Because… they lactose.

Henry Judge, from Dromore West, Sligo owns a Dexter cow named Ella, a cow that is just 31 inches tall.

Ella gave birth two weeks ago to a healthy calf named Martha.

But Ella is not an ordinary cow, as we said already she’s just 31 inches tall, making her the smallest cow in the world.

Although, the title is disputed because of a cow in India, who is actually smaller than Ella. But the cow in question has never had a calf, and can never have a calf.

So, in our eyes and the eyes of everyone in the country, Ella is the undisputed smallest cow in the world and we’ll have no more chatter on the matter.

Fair play to you Ella, we find your whole story very mooving (sorry).
