It's the pair's first collaboration in over 15 years.
After giving Jason Statham his first acting roles in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, director Guy Ritchie is teaming up with the action star once again for crime thriller Wrath of Man.
Set for a release this summer, a trailer has now dropped for the film which makes it look like Heat or Den of Thieves but combined with a revenge flick.
A remake of a 2004 French film, Wrath of Man centres on a mysterious and wild-eyed new cash truck security guard (Statham) who surprises his coworkers during an attempted heist when he unexpectedly unleashes precision skills.
The crew is left wondering who he is and where he came from. However, it isn't long before the marksman’s ultimate motive becomes clear as he takes dramatic and irrevocable steps to settle a score.
Along with Statham, the movie also stars Josh Hartnett (Lucky Number Slevin), Holt McCallany (Mindhunter), Post Malone (Spenser Confidential), as well as Irish actress and recent BAFTA nominee Niamh Algar (Calm With Horses).
Wrath of Man is scheduled for release in Ireland on 25 June.
