Jumping on the fact that everyone knows who the Dalai Lama is and how well revered he is across the world, but also how little the general public seems to know about him, Last Week Tonight does a deep dive on him and the entire China/Tibet situation.
While giving an amusing, detailed but concise of the current predicament – did you know there may be two competing Dalai Lamas (is that the plural of Lama?) in the near future? – Oliver goes one further and reveals that he went all the way over to Tibet to interview the man in person.
