In a new preview clip, Netflix has given viewers a first look at a number of the big movies that will drop on the streaming service this year and there's a lot to look forward to.
It comes as the streaming service is reportedly set to release more movies in 2022 than the six major studios combined will theatrically.
One of the most exciting films to come from Netflix is The Gray Man, which is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo (Avengers: Endgame) and will star Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling and Regé-Jean Page.
It focuses on CIA operative Lloyd Hansen (Evans) as he hunts down an ex-CIA assassin named Court Gentry (Gosling) and is said to be the biggest budget feature in all of Netflix’s history.
Also coming to Netflix this year is the much-anticipated sequel to Knives Out, with Daniel Craig returning as detective Benoit Blanc alongside a cast of potential suspects, including Dave Bautista, Edward Norton and Kathryn Hahn.
Other movies landing on the service in 2022 and previewed in the new footage include The Mother, starring Jennifer Lopez as an assassin who comes out of hiding to protect her daughter she left earlier in life.
There's also The Adam Project which features Ryan Reynolds as a time-traveling pilot who teams up with his younger self and his late father to come to terms with his past while saving the future.
Millie Bobby Brown will be back for a sequel to Enola Holmes, while Bridesmaids director Paul Feig will helm young adult fantasy The School for Good and Evil.
Other star-studded films to come include the Jamie Foxx-led action flick Day Shift, sci-fi Spiderhead with Chris Hemsworth and Lindsay Lohan rom-com Falling for Christmas.
