Now that fire and ice are finally together, where do we go from here?
MILD SPOILERS if you haven’t watched S7E3 of Game Of Thrones yet, but we will attempt to go light on actual, y’know, details.
At long last, Jon and Daenerys share a scene, and … well, it doesn’t go massively according to plan, or how everyone expected it to turn out.
Plus Daenerys attack on the Cersei and co. also doesn’t work out so great, and in the first teaser for the next episode, tentatively titled ‘The Spoils Of War’, Daenerys concedes that she might actually lose this war with the wicked queen.
So what else are we seeing here?
- Jaime looks like he’ll be helping pay off the bank loans with some serious moolah nabbed from the Tyrell vaults.
- “You can count on the Iron Bank, as soon as the gold arrives.” Count on them for what, exactly? To… lend them more money?
- Theon is off the boat that fished him out of the water and back on dry land, but again, where he goes from here is just about anyone’s guess.
- It looks like we will finally see Arya return to Winterfell, but lets hope her reunion is a little more emotional than Bran’s dead-eyed response to seeing Sansa again.
- Speaking of Sansa, she looks like she is on the verge of making a decision she’s not entirely comfortable with, and Littlefinger is clearly up to his devious ways as per usual.
