The first season of Sense8 was hugely divisive, with people who loved it gushing over it non-stop, and those who didn’t feeling a little bit of out of the loop (ironically).
Regardless of how you felt about it, you couldn’t deny the breadth and scope of the vision on display, as the sci-fi drama found a group of unconnected people scattered all around the world finding that they’re all actually psychically linked to each other, possibly representing the next step in human evolution.
Coming from the people behind The Matrix movies, we knew to expect a high IQ, but we didn’t fully expect the big heart behind it, as well as the forward-thinking, equality-for-all characters that would be on display, something we’re a very big fan of.
It has been nearly two years since we’ve caught up with the guys and gals of the Sense8 universe, but with the return date of 5 May looming, we finally get to see where the story is taking them next.
