WATCH: This Bono impersonator on X-Factor made quite the impression

Irish singers and musicians got their chance to stake their claim as the new One Direction, Leona Lewis and Steve Brookstein (Do you remember him? He released an album called Forgotten Man) when X-Factor held auditions in Ireland.

Sometimes you can't make it on your own in the music industry and Dublin singer Peter Richard was looking for the judges approval when he showed up looking like Bono. Peter was eager to state that "I don’t want to copy anybody, I’m my own self" but take a guess at what song he performed?

Yep, you guessed it.

At least he had the desire and pride to stay (faraway, so close) on the stage.
