This James Bond will return?

This James Bond will return?

Do you remember when people were left shaken and stirred with the news that Daniel Craig was going to be the man that picked up James Bond’s famous Walther PPK? All those (Dr.) No merchants must be feeling like they’ve been kicked in their Thunderballs right now because Craig has cemented his place as a 007 for the ages.

Diamonds may be forever but sadly the actor who plays James Bond isn’t, but there’s good news for fans of the Layer Cake star because it seems that Craig will have his Licence To Kill renewed for another installment.

Speaking with The Mail, Craig said that “I work myself to death. It’s getting harder. But such is life. I’ll keep going as long as I’m physically able”.

Regarding another adventure on his majesty’s secret service after Spectre he said, “I’m contracted for one more but I’m not going to make predictions”.

Skyfall was the very first Bond film to make $1bn at the box-office so I imagine that the Broccoli’s and Sony would be very happy to see the actor stay on in the tux. Nobody does it better… apart from maybe Sean Connery.

Spectre lands in Irish cinemas on October 26th.
