“KHHHHHAAAAAAAAAANNN!”

While Tarantino is discussing making his own Star Trek movie, which may also double as his last ever big-screen project, there is very little debate on what has been the greatest Star Trek movie to date.

Released in 1982, and a sequel to the disappointing first Star Trek movie, The Wrath Of Khan tore up the rule book of the series to date, pitching Kirk and his crew against a powerful, intelligent villain, and putting the audience into a tense action movie that had more in common with Crimson Tide than The Original Series.

It was also the movie that William Shatner his career defining scene, in which he shouts the name of the bad guy and then goes all-guns-blazing into the battlefield.

Shatner then went on to star in several more Star Trek movies, as well as other high profile projects such as Boston Legal, Dodgeball, Miss Congeniality, and more besides.

And now the good news for fans of the actor (as well as Trekkies in general), as Shatner is heading to Dublin early next year!

On the night, you’ll be getting a screening of Wrath Of Khan on the big screen, and following that Shatner will take to the stage to share some fascinating and humorous behind-the-scenes stories from portraying the original Captain James T. Kirk in the Star Trek television series and movies, as well as his career spanning over 50 years as an award winning actor, producer, director and writer.

Fans will also have a chance to ask William their question during the audience-led Q&A.

The event is set to take place on 16 March 2020, with more details to follow, which you can expect to see on the official William Shatner tour website here.
