We’re not buying it.
It’s fair to say that there is an abundance of men out there who would happily swap their mugs for that of Colin Farrell, a regular in all those ‘Sexiest Men’ lists that we pretend not to pay attention to.
Well, it turns out that London man James Martin, 29, is desperately struggling to find a woman because of, rather than in spite of, his uncanny resemblance to the Irish actor.
Martin, who makes a living as a Colin Farrell impersonator, told The Mirror that “They assume I’m a typical hell-raising womaniser, and some [women] are weird about how much I look like Colin.”
But it’s not all been bad news for Diet Colin. He has been provided with private booths and free drinks in exclusive nightclubs on account of his likeness to Farrell, even though he is always straight up with nightclub owners that he is not the True Detective star.
Colin Farrell might also be happy to hire Martin to do some of his TV chat show spots in the near future, after some weirdo tried to sniff him on Jimmy Fallon last night.
