It takes place in Highfield Golf Club in Kildare this Saturday...

Every time JOE comes home from a music festival, we think "we'd love to set up our own festival" but then we snap out of it and return to the reality of our riveting life (eating ice-cream and watching Netflix). A transition year student in Kildare named Faye Duggan had the same idea as us but Faye actually followed through and has gone and organised a music festival. Cabin Fever takes place this Saturday in Highfield Golf Club in Carbury, it will feature six bands over nine hours and the line-up is pretty great. Big September, Hogan and Red Empire are the headline acts while Ruaile Buaile, Jemson Green and V3 will also play... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydhYYAVkvi0 We think Faye is an absolute legend for setting this up and she's put a lot of work in as she's spent the last five months researching the music industry and putting it together. Faye says: “I absolutely love music of all genres from classic rock to rap and I particularly like Irish Bands. Cabin Fever is a one day event taking place on Saturday July 5th, I am particularly excited about hosting it in the Midlands, it is nice to see music events outside the big cities."

There is food stalls, a full bar (ID required) and much more and gates open at 2pm.  Tickets for the event cost €25 or €35 for VIP area.

For more information check out the Cabin Fever Facebook page.
