Due to phenomenal demand, Dublin pub is hosting a second night dedicated to Bruce Springsteen

Paul Moore

Bruce Springsteen

Non-stop Bruce for six hours.

When it comes to the amount of love for Bruce Springsteen, it appears that my hometown are willing to prove it all night because after the very first Hungry Heart evening featuring The Boss’ iconic tracks and burgers sold out in an instant, they’re back for another evening.

Because the night proved to be so popular, there’s now going to be another chance for people to start dancing in the dark at the Workman’s Club in Dublin.

JOE had the chance to chat with the event organiser Hannah Summers and she said that “It’s our fastest sell out ever – are Irish Bruce fans the biggest Bruce fans?”

Yes, we can confirm that Irish fans of The Boss are absolutely fanatical. Hell, the only thing they probably love more than Bruce is burgers!

As you can see below, the night seems like it’s an absolute riot because people in attendance actually write out their cardboard requests for the DJ to play – just like fans do whenever Bruce plays.

As for the organisers, their backstory is quite interesting because Hungry Heart was actually set up on the back of Hannah’s blog about burgers and she actually met Springsteen to have a chat about his career and burgers. FYI, The Boss’ views about burgers are pretty much on the point.

In case you need reminding, the world’s only Bruce Springsteen-dedicated club night will be taking place on 22 March (sold out) and 23 March (tickets are available).

Just like the first night, the evening will feature non-stop Springsteen tracks from 19.30 until 1.30, and attendees can slay their hungry heart beforehand with a burger from onsite Wowburger

Tickets cost €12 and can be purchased here.

Here’s a look at what’s in store.
