A family rave is coming to Dublin this summer

Paul Moore

Rave

Gather your brothers, sisters, and parents.

If you happen to think that madness runs in the family, or if you’re convinced that your wild streak comes from one of your parents, now is the perfect time to test that theory, because a family rave is coming to Dublin.

If you fancy a night out on the tiles with your brother/sister/mam/dad/kids then this event is definitely for you.

Family Rave is run by families for families and it promises to be fun for all rave generations, together at last on the dancefloor.

Big Fish Little Fish promises to be the ultimate family event in Dublin as for the first time ever, the glow sticks will be generational at the basement rave cave venue, Tramline.

The madness unfolds on 9 June and Mark Archer will be the DJ on the night.

Clubbers can expect an eclectic mix that celebrates over 30 years of rave music. Don’t worry though, there’s going to be plenty of acid house, drum & bass and techno too

Imagine your mam going mad on the dancefloor to some acid house? Yikes, now there’s an image to keep you up at night.

The whole evening is set to be an assault on the senses with banging tunes, glitter cannons, bubbles, giant balloons, and a parachute dance finale.

If you’ve got some toddlers and are worried about they might be partied out – or if they just need a little break from going wild on the dancefloor – you’ll be happy to know there’s also going to be a designated play area, a baby chill-out zone, arts and craft tables, a Play-Doh table, and a ball pool.

Tickets for the event cost €12 for adults, €8 for children and it’s free for toddlers.
