The group also looks set to launch a new show where they will perform as hologram "Abbatars".
Swedish pop sensations ABBA are set to release their first new songs since the 1980s on Thursday (2 September) with a "historic" comeback livestream event.
The pop group, who previously stated that they would never reunite, are also likely to launch a new show where they will perform as hologram "Abbatars", according to multiple reports.
After finding success by winning Eurovision in 1974 with hit song 'Waterloo', the group are now set to make a return decades later - much to the delight of fans.

Very few details have been released as of yet in terms of what fans can expect from the livestream event, however, it is anticipated that it will have something to do with the new musical releases and new theatrical show.
“Thank you for waiting, the journey is about to begin," the group said on Twitter last week.
Earlier on Thursday, the band, compromised of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, shared a follow-up post saying that "the future of ABBA" will begin today.
