Alt-J announce details of an Irish gig in October

Paul Moore

Alt-J Dublin

Something Good.

With a new album, Reduxer, also being released, it’s a pretty good time to be an Alt-J fan because the Mercury Award-winning band will also be playing in the Olympia Theatre on October 15th.

After headlining Longitude and filling out the 3Arena, the indie darlings will be returning to Dublin as they bring their new tunes to the Dame Street venue.

The band announced the news via Facebook and said: “It’s no secret that we love and are influenced by hip-hop, and it’s always been a dream of ours to work with hip-hop artists in re-imagining our music. With REDUXER that dream has come true. We couldn’t be happier with the results. This album is truly global, featuring rappers and producers from all over the world. After a very long time in the making, we are stoked to share it with you all.

“More exciting news. We will be going out on the road in the UK and Ireland this Autumn for seven shows including a special performance at the Royal Albert Hall. Tickets go on-sale on Friday 20th July at 9am from our website.”

Fans can pre-order REDUXER and get early access to their tour tickets here.

Given how popular tickets are to see the band, we expect these to sell out pretty quickly.

Tickets on sale this Friday 20th at 9am and they’re priced from €54.50 inclusive of booking fee.
