Great news for fans of the band.

Earlier this week we announced that English rock band alt-J were performing a gig in the Olympia in October.

The band announced the news via Facebook and said: “It’s no secret that we love and are influenced by hip-hop, and it’s always been a dream of ours to work with hip-hop artists in re-imagining our music. With REDUXER that dream has come true. We couldn’t be happier with the results. This album is truly global, featuring rappers and producers from all over the world. After a very long time in the making, we are stoked to share it with you all.

Due to demand, the band have announced that they will be performing a second date in the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on 16 October.

Tickets are €54.50, and are available on ticketmaster.ie.

But if the first date is anything to go by, you’d want to be fast, because these will sell pretty damn quickly.
