The news has gathered a mixed response.

Amy Winehouse passed away at the age of 27 in 2011.

Before that, she had been regarded as one of the finest talents in the music industry, and she had millions of fans all around the world.

But when the news that a hologram of her would be doing a world tour, those fans were left unsure what to think of the situation.

It is being reported that a projection of the singer will perform digitally remastered versions of her most famous songs, accompanied by a live band and backing singers.

According to The Guardian, her father Mitch is very much in favour of the idea, saying: “To see her perform again is something special that really can’t be put into words.

“Our daughter’s music touched the lives of millions of people and it means everything that her legacy will continue in this innovative and groundbreaking way.”

He also said that the money raised from the show would go towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which educates young people about the misuse of drugs and alcohol abuse, and also provides support for those at risk.

No dates for the tour have been confirmed just yet, but it is expected to take place in 2019.

The show is set to last up to 110 minutes.

A new documentary based on Winehouse’s life will be released next month. You can see the trailer for it here.
