Aslan announce Cork gig for summer 2019, with support from Damien Dempsey

That’s a very tidy lineup.

These are the wallets of some poor folks
This is the happy man’s ticket
These are the eyes of the gig crazed public
Staring at those maddening bills

Oh yes, there’s another gig announcement doing its very best to make you part with your hard-earned cash this Christmas, but unlike some of the other concerts announced for next summer, two beloved acts will be both be playing on the same night during Live at the Marquee in Cork.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Aslan’s album Goodbye Charlie Moonhead, the band will be playing on Leeside but that’s not the only attraction as Damien Dempsey will also be in tow.

Aslan are touring the album throughout 2019 and they arrive in Cork on Saturday 8 June.

Fans can expect to hear tunes such as ‘Rainman’, ‘Where’s the Sun’, ‘Games’, ‘Sweet Time’, and countless others.

For Damien Dempsey fans, we’re told that the beloved crooner will have his full band on stage.

Pricing information isn’t available yet, but tickets go on sale this Thursday, 13 December at 9am from Ticketmaster.
